Protected fashion supply chain: technical sheets and samples secured across contractors

The context

An established Italian premium apparel brand coordinates over 30 contractors each season: factories, print houses, and leather goods suppliers spread across Italy, Portugal, and North Africa. Technical sheets, digital samples, price lists, and material specifications are shared daily via email and unprotected links.

The brand had no visibility into what happened to files after sending: who opened them, whether they were copied, whether they ended up on third-party systems or, in the worst case, with a competitor.

The problem

Onboarding each new contractor took weeks, slowing the start of seasonal production runs. In the meantime, files were being sent through uncontrolled channels with no way to revoke access once a collaboration ended.

The risk was twofold: pre-launch design leaks feeding counterfeit markets, and unintentional exposure of technical specifications to competitors through contractors shared with other brands.

The solution
