What's the difference between Read-Only and Editor access?
Your access type determines exactly what you can do with a shared file — view only, or view and edit.
When someone shares a file with you, they assign one of two access types. That choice controls what you're allowed to do with the document.

Permission |
What you can do |
|
Read-Only |
You can open and view the file on the platform. You cannot edit it, download it, or print it. |
|
Editor |
You can edit the file in real time using the integrated Office 365. You can also download it, provided tags and company settings allow it. |
How to identify your access type
Each file in the Received section displays an icon next to its name:
- Yellow eye → Read-Only
- Green pencil → Editor
⚠️ Warning: Even with Editor access, some actions may be blocked by tags applied to the file. A 'no download' tag prevents downloading regardless of your permission level. Tags always take absolute priority.
