What can each role do in FileGrant?
Your account role and your permission on a specific file are two separate things — this guide explains both and how they interact.
In FileGrant, available actions depend on your account role and the access type you were granted on a specific file. These two factors work independently of each other.

Your account role and your permission on a file are independent. A Contributor with Read-Only access on a received file cannot download it, even though as a Contributor they can upload and share their own files.
AI access by role
AI features (Classification, Summary, Chat) are only available if enabled by the administrator, regardless of role.
