Why is a file only viewable in the FileGrant desktop app?

Anti-Capture mode blocks screenshots and screen recordings — when active, the file can only be opened through the FileGrant Windows desktop app.

Anti-Capture mode protects the most sensitive content by blocking screenshots, screen recordings, and any form of visual capture. When active, the file is only accessible via the FileGrant desktop app for Windows.

How to recognize an Anti-Capture file

  • The file shows a special status icon (desktop app required).
  • Opening the file in the browser shows a message telling you to use the desktop app.

How to access the file

  1. Install the FileGrant desktop app (available for Windows).
  2. Open the app and sign in with your credentials.
  3. Open the file from within the app's interface.
