What do the icons next to files in FileGrant mean?
Guide to interface icons: access mode, tags, sync status, AI and sale status.
Each file displays status icons next to its name. Here’s what they indicate:

Star |
File has been added to Favorites. |
|
Yellow Eye |
File received in Read-Only mode — you can view but not edit or download. |
|
Green Pencil |
File received in Editor mode — you can edit and, if permitted, download. |
|
Person Icon |
The file has been shared with other users. |
|
Key |
File is open or synced locally. |
|
Local Server |
File is synced to the local FileGrant folder. |
|
Cloud with Circuits |
AI classification in progress. |
|
Tag with Checkmark |
AI classification has been applied to the file. |
|
Store Icon |
The file is listed for sale. |
|
Crossed-out Eye |
The file is hidden from the main view. |
|
Building Icon |
A company tag (created by an administrator) is applied to the file. |
|
Connected Nodes |
A public tag is applied to the file. |
💡 Note: Some icons — such as those for AI features or file sales — only appear if the corresponding features have been enabled by your administrator.
