How do I search for a file and use filters in FileGrant?
Search tools for name, tag and metadata with filters by file type and list/grid view.
In the top bar of the interface, you’ll find tools to quickly locate any file.
Available tools

Search files and folders
|
Search by name, tag, or metadata. On the right side of the bar, you can choose between Exact match or Like search (approximate search). |
File types
|
Filter by category: documents, images, audio, video, other. |
Show files shared with |
Select a user to see which files you’ve shared with them. |
Change the view
In the top-right corner, two icons let you switch between:
- List view — displays files in rows with full details
- Grid view — displays files as previews
