How do I search and filter files in FileGrant?
Search bar for name and tags, filters by file type, exact match and approximate search modes.
Use the tools in the top bar to quickly locate any file or folder.
Search Bar
Type a file name, tag, or metadata value into the search bar. Click the icon to the right to switch between:
- Exact Match — returns only results with identical text
- Like Search — returns approximate results, including partial-word matches
File Type Filter
Click File Types to show only a specific category: Documents, Images, Audio, Video, or Other.
Shared With Filter
Select a user from the list to see all files you’ve shared with them.
List / Grid View
Two icons in the top-right corner let you toggle between list view (with full details) and grid view (with visual thumbnails).
